Bold koi carp swim among lily pads in a densely packed repeat, drawn in a graphic woodblock style with heavy black outlines and fine scale detailing. The fish are picked out in warm gold and beige against a charcoal ground, with lily leaves in dusky mauve and coral red filling the gaps between them. The overall effect is dark and richly patterned, suited to a striking feature wall.
