A weathered plaster-effect ground in soft off-white is overlaid with faded Moroccan-inspired motifs: mosaic diamond checks, radiating medallion stars and scattered tile fragments in dove grey, dusty pink and pale teal. The distressed, patchy backdrop gives the paper an aged, hand-worked look rather than a crisp graphic one.
